Airbus Protect

Airbus Protect is the dedicated cybersecurity, safety, and sustainability consultancy of the Airbus group. Formed in 2022 through the consolidation of Stormshield Consulting, Airbus CyberSecurity, and Airbus Protect's safety practice, the firm brings together more than 1,700 professionals across Europe, with its cybersecurity centre of excellence based in Élancourt, near Paris. The consultancy's penetration testing practice is ANSSI-qualified (PASSI) for organisational audits, architecture reviews, configuration reviews, source code reviews, and intrusion testing, the full French state-recognised stack.

Airbus Protect delivers red teaming, TIBER-EU and TLPT engagements under DORA, hardware and embedded testing for satellites, avionics, and industrial control systems, cloud security assessments, and source code review. The team is particularly strong in aerospace, defence, energy, and transport, sectors where Airbus's own operational heritage translates directly into attacker-relevant expertise, and where NATO-aligned security clearances are routinely required on engagements.

Airbus Protect is best suited to large European enterprises and government organisations with critical-infrastructure footprints, particularly those subject to the French LPM, NIS 2, DORA, and the EU Cyber Resilience Act. Typical clients include aerospace OEMs, space agencies, transmission system operators, defence primes, and government ministries.
