What is Red Teaming?

Red teaming is an adversarial security exercise where a team of skilled attackers attempts to breach an organisation's defences using any means necessary, including technical exploits, social engineering, and physical intrusion. Unlike a standard penetration test, red teaming is goal-oriented and tests the organisation's detection and response capabilities as a whole. Red team engagements typically run over several weeks and simulate realistic threat scenarios.
